Installation:

Suffr is developed on a Ubuntu server system.

Note: Packages for utilities used in Suffr topics are not
automatically installed, so for now look at the topics to identify
what is needed, e.g. ufw, TrueCrypt.

1. Install Apache & create a new site.

2. Install suPHP as an Apache module. This permits PHP scripts to run
as root (or at least as somebody else), which is necessary for Suffr
to perform system administration functions.

3. Install the latest PMWiki. http://pmwiki.org.

4. If desired, configure PMWiki to use per-group directories. Add:

   $WikiDir = new PageStore('wiki.d/{$Group}/{$FullName}');
   $WikiLibDir = new PageStore('wikilib.d/{$Group}/{$FullName}');
   $WikiLibDirs= array(&$WikiDir, &$WikiLibDir);

...early in the config.php file. This allows the In Camera topic work properly.

Move the topic files in wiki.d/ and wikilib.d/ to subdirectories named
for topic groups: e.g.,

   wikilib.d/Main.HomePage  => wikilib.d/Main/Main.HomePage

5. Configure PMWiki as desired. You probably want to enable RSS etc.;
it's likely this will figure highly in making this system practical.

6. Add

include_once("$FarmD/cookbook/suffr.php");

...at the bottom.

7. Install "fox" from http://pmwiki.org. This package is used to
implement web forms at present.
